Bathroom in Blue

小さなバスルームの改修です。
主な利用者である海外からのゲストのため、日本らしさが感じられながらも、シンプルで使いやすい空間が求められました。
水に塗れて鮮やかに発色する十和田青石と、
伝統的な釉薬による青磁のタイルを組み合わせた、淡い青色のバスルームです。

This project is a renovation of a small bathroom.
Designed primarily for guests from overseas, the space was intended to evoke a sense of Japan while remaining simple and intuitive to use.
The bathroom is finished in a soft blue palette, combining Towada Blue Stone, which develops a vivid color when wet, with celadon tiles made using traditional glazing techniques.
